The Best ๐Ÿ‘ Healthiest Food to Break a Fast ๐Ÿ‘ˆ

The Keto Proโ€™s number one tip to break a fast! Ideally for any fast of 24hrs or more! (Or even when you want to eat clean )

This is the best way to start eating after a fast. Day 1 have 2-3 cups of the broth from soup then dinner have 1-2 cups of soup. Next day haha 1-2 cups of brother when hungry then 1 cup of soups for lunch, optional broth in afternoon and dinner have 1-2 cups of soup

(my recommendation to break the fast is to start with a couple cups of the broth, then progressively add chunks of veggies and chicken, until at dinner time you can have a full cup of this hearty soup)

Ingredients:

3 - 32 ounce chicken stock

1 whole chicken

1 onion

5-7 cloves of garlic

1/4 cup ginger, peeled and minced

3/4 -1 teaspoon sea salt (to taste)

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon of dry thyme

1/2 teaspoon of dry sage

Add more seasonings to your liking

2 bay leafs

2 cup of diced carrots

2 cup of diced celery

1 lemon

Fresh spinach

Directions:

1)Add chicken stock to large soup pot turn heat on high then add chicken, onion, ginger, garlic, and seasonings, followed by carrots and celery.

2)Bring to boil then let simmer till chicken floats. Pull chicken out let cool and then pull all the meat toss back into soup and bring back to boil. Taste soup and add salt or other seasonings as needed. I like to add fresh spinach and lemon on top... Enjoy
